On December 12, 2024, the next round of political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic was held in Paris. The consultations were chaired by the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan, Ismatullo Nasredin, and the Director for Continental Europe, Brice Roquefeuil.

The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in political, economic, cultural, and regional security spheres.

Both sides expressed satisfaction with the current level of relations and emphasized their interest in further deepening and expanding multifaceted cooperation, as well as implementing joint programs and projects in the next stages.

Attention was also paid to the cooperation between Tajikistan and France within the framework of international and regional organisations.
